About this course
The module will examine the theory and practice of syllabus design, lesson planning and materials development. It explores the relationship between syllabus design, lesson planning and methodology. Students will engage with practical strategies for planning relevant lessons and courses, and consider the implications for a variety of educational context and varied target learners. After the course, the learners will be able to: analyze target audience needs and develop course learning outcomes; critically assess and reflect upon course books and teaching aids for FL courses; design, develop and implement syllabi, lessons and materials in ELT
