About this course
The Master’s Degree Programme Business in the Baltic Sea Region offered at Pskov State University is fully conforming to Russian and European educational standards. It has been co-developed by the EuroFaculty-Pskov Consortium, a programme of the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
Leading universities in the Baltic Sea Region participated in the development of the programme (University of Turku (Finland), Trondheim Business School (Norway), Roskilde University (Denmark), Stockholm School of Economics in Saint-Petersburg, University of Latvia, University of Tartu (Estonia), Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics and European University Viadrina (Germany).
The mission of the programme is to educate and train highly-qualified and internationally recognized professionals who are capable to effectively implement their analytical and research competences, leadership skills, innovation methods and specific knowledge in the process of development and introduction of business management strategies within the context of highly competitive markets and rapidly changing business environments.
The curriculum of the programme includes major knowledge areas necessary for successful business development within the context of international business as well as elective courses providing students with sufficient freedom of choice for defining their own professional growth in accordance with their career objectives and interests. A crucial component of the programme is the provision of an international study experience through a multitude of difference means, such as student exchange or joint courses or modules with universities abroad.
